In the United States, podcast advertising revenues are on the upswing. According to the latest IAB study, in 2020 and despite unprecedented health and economic crisis, podcast advertising revenues climbed 19% to $842 million. As a reminder, they were almost halved in 2018. Proof of relentless growth for a relatively young medium.
Forecasts for the coming years are rather encouraging, since the market, driven by the post-Covid economic recovery, should experience very strong growth in 2021 (+60%) to reach 1.347 billion and then well over two billion in 2023. The future looks bright!
