Promote your radio show or podcast with an audio tweet!

Make way for audio tweets! For a few weeks now, during the test phase, users of the latest version of IOS on their iPhone have been able to record 140 seconds of sound with their smartphone’s microphone. The voice replaces the text and the user can listen to your message as he would read your tweet.

You can Tweet a Tweet. But now you can Tweet your voice!

Technically the process is simple and the use is limited to the microphone. Impossible for the moment to download a file. But it doesn’t matter, this little innovation can be used punctually or more regularly to promote your radio, your next radio show or your podcast. It’s up to you to choose the right words to know how to tease and make Twitter users want to join you in this brand new and innovative way.

A few tips to make your publicity a success:

  • Be brief and striking: you don’t need to use all the 140 seconds at your disposal. A 20-30 second message will suffice.
  • Accompany your audio Tweet with a short text explaining a few words to encourage reading.
  • Choose the right hashtags related to the content of your podcast to appear in a maximum number of searches and maximize your audience.
